We are proud to announce that, once again this year, Il Borro has been included in James Suckling’s selection of his Top 100 Italian Wines.
The honour goes to our Nitrito Valdarno di Sopra DOC 2021, a pure Cabernet Sauvignon that represents the jewel in Il Borro’s winemaking portfolio. Sourced from a selected vineyard, cultivated also according to biodynamic principles and with the use of draft horses to promote greater soil oxygenation, the wine is entirely vinified in French oak barriques to create a refined and sought-after expression, where aromas of alpine herbs and spices harmoniously blend with a full- bodied and assertive palate.
This recognition is an important acknowledgement of Il Borro’s unwavering commitment to consistently upholding the highest standards of excellence.
