The Estate’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in its approach to viticulture and winemaking, where the goal is to achieve harmony between nature, people, and the land. Il Borro has been a certified organic farm since 2015 and earned the Viva Sustainable Winery certification in 2024.
Respect for the Environment and Biodiversity
At Il Borro, the land is cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, following nature’s rhythms and min-imizing the use of chemicals by replacing them with natural practices. The Estate is home to over 100 beehives, not only for the production of organic honey, but above all to support and enhance the biodiversity of local flora.
