We are delighted to announce that our Petruna in Anfora Valdarno di Sopra DOC 2021 has been awarded the prestigious Tre Bicchieri distinction in the 2027 edition of Gambero Rosso’s Vini d’Italia Guide.
Petruna in Anfora is an experiential wine, crafted entirely in unglazed terracotta amphorae. To extract the fullest expression of the Sangiovese, the wine remains in contact with the grape skins during the whole ageing process, enhancing the variety’s character and revealing its distinctive qualities.
This award is yet another testament to the passion and dedication that Il Borro pours into every one of its wines.
