Grappa del Borro

The pomace from the winery’s most prestigious wine, Il Borro, is distilled using the traditional discontinuous method, with manual head and tail cuts for each batch. The 18 months of aging in French oak barriques bestow an elegant aroma and a velvety, persistent flavour upon the grappa.
The product
The grappa presents a delicate amber colour. The nose is intense and complex, distinguishing scents of licorice, tobacco, honey, and a pleasant sensation of sweetness. The taste is smooth and enveloping, with a long, persistent finish that mirrors the olfactory sensations. Il Borro Grappa Riserva is obtained exclusively from the pomace of grapes intended for the production of Il Borro wine, grown within the estate. Just a few hours after racking, the pomace is sent to our trusted Nannoni distillery, which is entrusted with the delicate phase of distillation.
Food Pairings
To be enjoyed at the end of a meal, paired with dark chocolate or a fine cigar. It can also be savoured on its own as a meditation spirit.
