Il Borro Chardonnay testifies to the company’s single-varietal philosophy: the desire to bring a grape variety to its highest expression while giving it the typical character of all Il Borro’s great wines, where elegance and refinement are combined with great structure.
The product
The 2022 vintage was characterized by a dry and warm climate, mitigated by abundant rainfall in August and September which, however, did not hinder the harvest operations. The weather conditions primarily affected yields, while the resulting wines proved to be expressive and endowed with intense aromas.

A wine that pairs well with medium-aged cheeses, white meats such as rabbit, or structured fish dishes.
