Pian di Nova, a full-bodied wine whose elegance and silkiness never disappoint, is a dynamic blend that perfectly combines the spice of Syrah with the fruit of Sangiovese.
The product
The 2022 vintage was marked by a dry and warm climate, mitigated by abundant rainfall in August and September which, however, did not hinder the harvest operations. The weather conditions primarily influenced yields, while the resulting wines were expressive and possessed intense aromas.
Food Pairings
It pairs perfectly with traditional Tuscan dishes, but can also accompany spicy, strongly flavoured dishes from Oriental cuisine.
